Harpole Bowls Club is set on the outskirts of Harpole village and has both outdoor and short mat indoor bowls facilities. We have a varied choice of social and competitive bowling for players of all abilities from casual play to club games, day and evening leagues and competitions. There are no barriers to playing bowls no matter what age or ability.

We offer free coaching for indoor throughout the year and outdoor bowls during the summer.

Annual membership covers playing bowls indoors and outdoors, plus access to various social events. We have a comfortable lounge and bar area and also a hall which can be hired out for your own social functions - see Hiring of Club Facilities >>

Indoor Short Mat 

We have 3 short mat rinks in the main hall plus an option for a fourth in the conservatory.

The short mat sessions run all year round and we have lots of different ways to play 

• Roll ups every Tues & Thurs morning throughout the year

• From September to April rolls ups most Tues  & Thurs evenings.

• Various internal competitions

• Internal leagues

• Friendly and competitive fixtures against other clubs

Outdoor Green

We have a six rink outdoor green which is open from late April to mid September each year. 

We have lots of ways to play throughout the season

• Friendly fixtures twice a week against other clubs in the Northampton area , these are  mixture of home & away

• These are always played as mixed men's and ladies' games

• An internal league runs on Wednesday evenings

• Various internal competitions

• Competitive Monday night triples league - we have two teams represented - see Outdoor Fixtures >> 

• Play roll ups any time green not in use or being maintained
