Review of 2022 outdoor season

The 2022 season, sadly, is now finished.

There has been some very good games this past few months and a lot of fun has been had

Harpoles results in friendlies against other clubs has been in the main very good, winning far more than were lost.

The men’s triples “A” team had a very successful season gaining promotion from division 4. Unfortunately the “B” didn’t fair as well and were relegated from division 3.

With a number of new promising players joining the club this past season we look forward to a successful season in 2023.

The internal competitions were well supported and the results of those were….

The Men’s singles champion for 2022 is Roy Firminger who beat Mark Oldham in the final

The Ladies champion is Wendy Kean who beat Val Jones in the final

The Pairs winners were Mark Oldham and Roy Firminger who beat Mary Carter and Mike Edwards in the final.

And finally the Triples winning team was Limes. The team members were Kevin Mace, Mary Carter, Val Wakefield, Tony Norton & Dave Dent.

Congratulations to all the winners, but most importantly well done to all those who took part in the various competitions and games against other clubs. Counting down the days to next year already!!!
